Terms of use

Last updated: 5 October 2026

These terms govern the use of mTime, a service of Earlybyte GmbH. By signing in you agree to them.

1. The service

mTime is a free tool for booking working time into your bexio account. Bookings are written directly to bexio; bexio remains the authoritative source of your time data.

mTime is an independent offering and is not affiliated with bexio AG.

2. Requirements

You need a bexio account with the rights required for time tracking. You are responsible for being allowed to use mTime with that account – in particular if it is your employer’s account.

3. Your responsibility

You are responsible for the correctness of your bookings. Check them in bexio before you use them for invoices, salaries or statements.

You must not misuse mTime: no automated mass requests, no attempts to get around protective measures, no use for unlawful purposes.

4. Availability

We run mTime with care but do not promise any particular availability. mTime depends on bexio; if bexio cannot be reached or changes its interface, mTime may fail in whole or in part.

We may change, restrict or discontinue mTime at any time.

5. Cost and support

mTime is free of charge. We are glad to receive questions and bug reports at support@earlybyte.ch; there is no entitlement to support.

6. Warranty and liability

mTime is provided as it is, without warranty. To the extent permitted by law we are liable only for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence. Liability for slight negligence, for indirect and consequential damage – such as lost profit or incorrect invoices – and for auxiliary persons is excluded.

7. Rights

All rights in mTime belong to Earlybyte GmbH. Your data remains yours. "bexio" is a trademark of bexio AG.

8. Ending the use

You can stop using mTime at any time and delete your account under "Settings"; this removes everything mTime stores about you. We may block accounts that violate these terms.

9. Data protection

How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy.

10. Changes

We may adapt these terms. The version published here applies; continuing to use mTime afterwards means accepting it.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Winterthur, unless the law mandatorily provides otherwise.
